Resumen

El presente estudio corresponde a una revisión de literatura científica centrada en el comercio electrónico minorista sostenible, cuyo desarrollo se debe al impulso tecnológico centrado en la inteligencia artificial. El objetivo de este trabajo fue revisar la producción documentaria producida acerca del e-commerce sostenible en el sector retail (2019-2021). Para esto se analizaron diversos artículos científicos alojados en bases de datos como EBSCOhost, ProQuest y Scopus, correspondiente al período 2019-2021, tanto en idioma español como en otros extranjeros. Asimismo, los métodos analítico-crítico, sintético y documental fueron utilizados para la lectura exhaustiva de documentos que, en gran medida, correspondieron a artículos completos. En suma, el criterio de inclusión fue analizar 43 artículos que tocan la temática del comercio electrónico y sus vínculos con el sector minorista a nivel global. El estudio reveló que existe un aumento de la economía digital que condiciona el desarrollo del comercio electrónico transfronterizo y el comercio electrónico, de manera específica en el sector retail. El signo distintivo es que la inteligencia artificial juega un papel relevante para el posicionamiento de los negocios. De allí la importancia que adquiere el comercio electrónico.
