Resumen

El objetivo es realizar una revisión bibliométrica del fracking como forma de extracción de petróleo. La metodología empleada fue cualitativa y se utilizó la base de datos Scopus y por medio de herramientas bibliométricas se extrajeron los registros y se analizaron
en RStudio, basado en cuatro variables: revistas, autores, universidades y países que se han enfocado en el tema, con el fin de presentar la red de cocitaciones y de autores. Los resultados parciales presentan los efectos ambientales para la extracción de petróleo y el fracking, frente a los beneficios económicos del sector petrolero en el marco de la crisis climática. Si bien se han realizado estudios de impacto ambiental y económico derivado de la extracción del petróleo, no se han presentado soluciones que permitan
avances con la biodiversidad.
