Conflict of Interest
All participants in the editorial process (authors, reviewers, and editors) must declare any personal, academic, or financial relationship that could influence the development or evaluation of manuscripts.
If a conflict of interest is identified, the editorial team will take the necessary measures to guarantee the transparency and impartiality of the process.
Originality
RCCA uses similarity detection tools (such as anti-plagiarism software) to verify the originality of manuscripts.
The following are considered unacceptable:
- Total or partial plagiarism.
- Redundant self-publication without justification.
- Manipulation of citations or references.
Manuscripts that engage in these practices will be rejected, and, if necessary, the relevant institutions will be notified.
Note: All articles submitted to Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Administrativas review for potential similarity through StrikePlagiarism.
Retractions, Corrections, and Controversies
The journal may issue:
- Corrections, when errors are identified that do not invalidate the article's results.
- Retractions, when there is evidence of misconduct or serious errors that compromise the validity of the work.
- Decisions will be made by the editorial team, guaranteeing due process and the authors' right to reply.
Handling Misconduct
In cases of suspected misconduct (plagiarism, data falsification, undisclosed conflicts of interest, among others), the journal will follow a process that includes:
- Preliminary review by the editorial team.
- Request for clarification from the authors.
- Evaluation of the case according to international guidelines.
- Decision-making (rejection, retraction, or other measures).
The journal reserves the right to inform the institutions involved when appropriate.
This policy is aligned with international standards of good editorial practices, including the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics. [1]
