Abstract
The paper analyzes the visual construction from the new social field that the Revolution inaugurates, from some of the most influential media pages at the epoch: the weekly publication “Lunes de Revolución”. The problem settles around how is the visuality change reveal, beginning with a hypothesis to check in those publication pages. The work starts with a documental review of the principal national press exponents and the commercial content, with the purpose of balance the national press condition in 1950’s. Finally, the paper studies the change result in the ideological map with the Revolution triumph through “Lunes” weekly publication pages, from the formal lecture of images. The main conclusion stands that “Lunes de Revolución” realize the visuality change when this weekly publication accompanies the revolutionary Cuban discourse development.
