Abstract
History of childhood in Colombian cinema is a book product of investigative work by Professor Carlos Eduardo Daza Orozco, who reviewed 431 national feature films premiered since 1922 - when the cinema arrived in Colombia-, until 2013, which marks the balance of a decade after the well-known “Law of Cinema”. This book looks through the big screen the role of Colombian children. To do this, through categories sociological, legal, historiographic and technical, the author performs a review of the cinematographic productions released and co-financed by the Colombian State.
