Digital Animation as Inspiration and Distortion Education in Adults, Young and Children Identity Process

Abstract
Digital animation has acquired significant social relevance, moving beyond its original function as entertainment to establish itself as a medium for expression, inspiration, and emotional communication. This article examines the role of digital animation as a tool for learning and development in the emotional, educational, and creative domains, especially among young people and adults in Chile, from a qualitative perspective focused on the participants’ experiences and perceptions. It also explores the potential risks associated with overexposure and the excessive consumption of animated content, considering its impact on identity formation and on the perception of reality, within the context of digital platforms and social media.
